Okay so I'm still around mostly, and it's time for my pseudo-monthly check in (pronounced "swaydo")
The past month I was in Europe, traveling around with some friends from college, so that was fun. We went from Barcelona to Lyon, then Paris, then Brussels, then Amsterdam, then Berlin, then Munich, then Augsburg, then Vienna, then Budapest, then Venice, then Rome, then Cinque-Terre, then Nice, then Barcelona again.
Sufficed to say, I was exhausted by the end of it.
Then I went back to Auburn, packed all my shit up, and drove home.
I can't remember if I mentioned that goings on, but I graduated from Auburn University in May with a bachelor's in Industrial Design and a commission as a 2nd Lt. in the Air Force. I miss college already.
Next stop for me is, if the Air Force decides to tell me, Goodfellow AFB in San Angelo, Texas as an Architectural Engineer (barring any changes)
I'm really looking forward to this next step and I can't wait to start my career in the world's biggest, armed, flying circus.
Otherwise I am just chilling at home for a few months finding some odd jobs to keep me occupied.
Because of this, I might just be getting some new art out! (and there was much rejoicing)
I have 3 commissions I owe people that I'll finally be able to finish up, so I am ready to get on that
In other news, going to Bronycon in August, also went to Everfree in June, ready to get on that con life again!
Aaaaaaaand I made a twitter! I don't know what I'll put on it, but I'm sure I'll find some more inane shit to spill out on there!

Checking In
I'm still here! Been busy with moving around and training and such.
Just as an update if anyone's interested: I'm in training to be a Civil Engineer for the Air Force here in Ohio. My life's been a bit of a whirlwind with a farming job over the summer as well as moving down to Texas, THEN an almost immediate TDY to Ohio for 2 months.
The nice thing about all this is that I've had some extra time to draw finally!
Expect some new pony stuff here sometime soon, as well as some not-so-pony stuff because I'm gonna throw some horrifying terrifying furry crap here. yolo.
Anyway, good to be back arting again!
Entry
Hey all!
Just posting to say I'm still alive.
This summer's been rather busy with work and all, which would explain a lack of artwork.
I did get a chance to go to Bronycon again this year and it, once again, failed to disappoint. I had an excellent time with friends from last year and got to meet some awesome new people this year. Just an all around fantastic con and I'm already pining for next year.
School starts in about a week. I will miss summer, but it'll be good to get back into the swing of things. One more year, that's it.
As for art stuff, I'll hopefully be having some new projects coming down the pike for you guys, one in parti
Meanwhile...
In Mattings land,
Just an update on my end, things have been going pretty well!
Just getting through school and all, and continuously being surprised at how fast it's going by.
This semester's been one helluva lot less hectic than last semester, which has been a godsend. This week'll be a bit hectic due to some scheduling mixups that aren't really helping with the projects I have due, but what the hell, I'm excited about it anyway for a few different reasons.
I am happy to report that I was awarded a Combat Systems Officer slot from the Air Force last month, which means I have a Job! When I graduate and commission, they'll send me down to
And now...
Number 1: The Larch.
Hey all you crazy folk, might as well put some sort of update on here.
All is well on this end, just starting off on a new semester and here's hoping it'll be a little less insane than the last one! One more semester of Industrial Design classes, AFROTC, general college happenings, and staying afloat on the sea of sanity.
In other news:
I've got a shit ton of projects that I want to work on and I'm hoping to get some progress on them soon!
Art, Sculptures, Hoodies, maybe some things for sale, all that fun stuff, so stay tuned!
Hmmm, what else...
Season 4 of MLP's been cool! Overall very solid, I've been content w
